B&M Roofing is seeking a highly motivated Commercial Low-Slope Project Manager/Estimator to join our team in Frederick, CO. The position has a competitive base salary plus a graduated commission based on gross earnings and includes a highly competitive benefits package. Ideal applicants will possess the skills listed below:
- A roofing project manager/estimator is responsible for bidding, selling and managing roofing projects
- Develop labor estimates for potential jobs
- Develop and maintain relationships with manufacturers, distributors, suppliers and customers to strategically approach jobs and purchases
- Track, manage and examine ongoing projects
- Speak in a clear and professional manner
- Able to read and interpret written information
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts necessary for estimating project costs
- Ability to use phones, tablets and other technology tools; including estimating software applications:
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications; collect and research data, and use intuition and experience to complement information
- Knowledge of various roof systems, materials, construction processes and theories; ability to understand a roof system design; desire to stay abreast of codes and other necessary information
- Ability to identify, correct and report unsafe conditions according to company and OSHA standards
- Knowledge to inspect and ensure attention to detail and quality
- Demonstrate the ability to meet and exceed productivity standards; works quickly and accurately
- Ability to understand and formulate change orders and loss/gain production on job budgets
- Understand budgeting and implications to jobs
- Thrive in a dynamic, interactive company environment as well as develop and maintain relationships outside the company
- Seek to help customers even in difficult situations and maintain customer relationships
- Understand complex problems and make difficult decisions
- Able to work well with others within and outside of the company system
